This green oolong from the Fujian province is a regional specialty tea rarely seen outside of China. This was the original Blue People Oolong tea that started it all! Made with the original formulated recipe, with the blending of a fragrant Taiwanese Oolong which is then laced with Ginseng, and Licorice root.
This is one our favorites here at Herbescent. It brews up very aromatic, sweet, floral, and slightly spicy with a pronounced silky texture.
The leaf is laced with ginseng and licorice root, and then folded many times. When brewed the leaves unfurl into its full leaf form. This oolong will give you several brews Premium Ginseng Oolong (Lan Gui Ren), is a higher grade compared to our regular ginseng oolong. It is made with younger tea leaves with a sweeter and smoother taste.
Ginseng energizes while the licorice root replenishes your body. Oolong tea has a rich taste with many health benefits. You receive the goodness of ginseng and the healing support of the herbs in this great tasting Oolong.

We encourage you to experiment with steeping times and quantity of tea leaves used per brew to discover your perfect soothing cup of tea. We recommend warming up you teapot and cups before serving to retain the warmth of your tea while sipping. Start by pouring hot water into your teapot and cups, let sit and then drain completely before serving your hot tea. Prepare Herbescent loose leaf teas & botanical's by using accessories to properly brew loose leaf tea like a teapot with a tea basket strainer, draw string tea filters, stainless steel infuser baskets or traditional brewing methods.
